Sebastian Ciobanu has qualified for the second time for the SUPERKOMBAT® World Grand Prix – Final Elimination after he won the heavyweight tournament from the SUPERKOMBAT® World Grand Prix Craiova. Stauros Exakoustidis (-65kg) and Claudiu Badoi (-71kg) became challengers for the World Title with their impressive victories.

In one of the most expected fights of the night, the rematch between Benjamin Adegbuyi and Jairzinho Rozenstruik was a colossal battle between two heavyweights from the new generation. The Romanian KO artist, Benjamin Adegbuyi dominated three rounds with a perfect tactic and he recorded his 12th succes. “It’s just my second time when my fight doesn’t finish with KO, but I’m very happy because I took the revenge against Jairzinho Rozenstruik.”, said Benjamin Adegbuyi.

In his first fight after the K-1 World GP – Final from Zagreb, Catalin Morosanu started in his own style and his opponent, Eduardo Mendes (20 / 19 KO – 2 – 0) was demolished after 2 minutes and 52 seconds via technical knockout in the first round. One of the most popular fighter in Eastern Europe, Catalin Morosanu lost just one fight since may 2013, against Pavel Zhuravlev, and after his won with Eduardo Mendes he announced that is ready for rematch against SUPERKOMBAT® World Grand Prix 2012 – Final.

At his 7th one night tournament in career, Sebastian “The Son of Dracula” Ciobanu get his ticket for SUPERKOMBAT® World Grand Prix – Final Elimination scheduled on November 9th after he put a spectacular effort defeating Vladimir Toktasynov and Frank Munoz. Sebastian Ciobanu will be for the second time at SUPERKOMBAT® World Grand Prix – Final Elimination after last year, in the same city, when he qualified for the big final with a split decision win against Roman Kleibl.

The next SUPERKOMBAT® World Grand Prix event is scheduled for September 28th, but until then the SUPERKOMBAT® New Heroes series will continue.
